Recidivist explores the idea of repeat offenders - but in a deeper sense, the traps we can fall into where we find ourselves repeating negative behaviours, emotions and actions.

Sonically and compositionally, Recidivist is built on hard edged, crushing cyclic riffs backed with dense double-kick drums, churning bass and aggressive vocals. At their heaviest moments, Somaesthesia beat you down with tight, complex repeated rhythms, yet there is also a dark and foreboding atmosphere that haunts these crushing tracks. Musically and lyrically, Somaesthesia have created a dark and dynamic EP that explores the depths of the human psyche.

It's Dvne, always so much to love with anything they release. Omega Severer is just absolutely incredible, and Of Blade and Carapice is a wonderful re-recording from their Aurora Majesty EP.
